Questioning, skepticism, reasoning...all these things have one thing in common: They are the traits of a true critical thinker, someone who doesn't just accept something because everyone else is screaming the same claims. Someone who is a critical thinker, has the capacity to reason beyond what appears to be true at first glance. He or she takes multiple variables into account, and tries to look at all aspects of a story. You're going to learn more about some of the following things:

  • Inductive and deductive thinking.
  • Skeptical reasoning.
  • Rationalism and what it entails.
  • How to make better decisions with logic and numbers.

And so much more! Do yourself a favor and get that clever brain working you have hidden for all these years.

And yet, I found that this book can enhance your thinking abilities if you listen carefully to it. I have nothing else to say. Thank you.

I realized, as I was listening to it, that critical thinking is so important and that not enough people do it. It's one thing to think that you're smart. It's another to know what to question and what to believe. This is a thorough analysis of the concept of skepticism versus drawing conclusions based on the right knowledge. I enjoyed it.

It definitely made me think. I gotta say, the more I read or listen to books like this, the more I can look at things with a critical point of view, no matter how cliche that sounds. I mean, go figure. Most people don't think twice about the emotions that some politicians provoke in them. Everything is messed up that way, but with critical thinking skills, we can rise above that. Great stuff. Bravo!
