The Western world has collapsed and the world is in a state of peril, with China being the world's lone superpower and its economic and military presence dominating the nations. Two young Jordanian IT professionals stumble across a top secret government file to end the reign of China's power. This leads to catastrophic consequences and puts them in a position where their lives are in immediate danger. The road to safety is long and the trip is full of treachery and adventure. Feel the thrill as they make their way through the uncertainty, meeting companions along the way and eluding apprehension.
This is the debut novel by J.M. Zale. Narrator Jeremy Muñoz (aka Big J.erm7 Muñoz) is a voice actor and impressionist, music producer, extreme performance artist, magician, and two-time Guinness World Record holder. He had his first live performance at the age of 5 and now, at 24 years old, has been dedicating more of his time to the world of voice-overs and producing mixed-genre albums.

Well written and the narrative by Jeremy Munoz was great.
The story moved along quickly but didn’t lose anything.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. 😊

The narrator was a hit or miss for me also. His voices were great, but when he was reading the parts of the story without dialogue, he was very monotone and dry. Some of the accents were confusing, sounding more like Texan than Jordanian/Arabic. Also, there were a lot of mispronounced words throughout this short read.
All in all, not a bad way to spend a couple of hours. I would definitely read another book by author since this story held a lot of promise. I was given the chance to listen to the audiobook version of this book by the author/narrator/publisher and chose to review it.
