From bestselling author B.B. Reid comes a wicked retelling of your favorite fairytale.
America’s sweetheart has been canceled.
From teen star to international phenom to the biggest celebrity in the world, Aurelia George has suddenly found herself on the other side of adoration. The public thinks they hate her when they never really knew her. The saddest tragedy of all is that she doesn’t know herself.
Done with the fame, glitz, and glam—the whole doe-eyed princess charade—Aurelia decides she’s taking back her life, even if it costs her everything.
But her uncle has other plans.
Shipped far away until the heat dies, Aurelia finds herself in the one place where her name means nothing. When a blizzard causes her plane to crash, she becomes stranded in the wilds of Northern Canada, a sole survivor with no one to turn to.
No one except them.
The misanthropic mountain men who’ve shut themselves away.
It’s their cabin Aurelia finds in the icy wilderness and their obsession she ignites when they discover her sleeping in one of their beds. Thorin, Khalil, and Ezekiel (and all of his personalities) have only longed for one thing in nine long years...a woman to warm their beds.
Surviving a plane crash, wolves, avalanches, frozen lakes, and a harsh winter with three feral men is nothing compared to Aurelia’s hardest trial of all—finding herself.

My bookclub got this book recommendation from Brynne Weaver, I should have known to expect the unexpected. The storyline over all was very good, the narration would have been better in utilizing the full cast. The spice in this book was definitely beyond spicy. As for the mental stability of the characters any of the MMCs or our FMC...that's where this book got dicey. The Stockholm Syndrome and DID were where this book got truly heavy and dark. The majority of this book was very mentally intense, the manipulation, gaslighting need to be strongly considered prior to reading this book. It was very well written, the twist and cliffhanger at the end will definitely have me coming back for the second book. Please take trigger warnings seriously with this book, as much as I liked it I can see it isn't for everyone.

Well that was an unexpected mindf*ck

This is a great RH, urban re-telling of the fairytale. Definitely has triggers & some gross scenes, but overall, the story was fantastic from beginning to end. Loved the length of the story. Again, fantastic writing. Lots of spice. Now, the narration...Nicole & Logan were the best narrators, in my opinion. And, although narration was muti-cast, it was not performed in duet style. Each narrator, during their reading, performed both the male and female characters of that scene 🤔....defeats the purpose of multi-cast narration. Honestly, it took more than half the book for me to get over the narration...but the STORY, the STORY was really good. It was so frustrating when they switched readers, but the story was so intriguing, I felt compelled to see what was happening next. Even as long as it was, I still didn't want it to end. Can I just say, cliffhanger?....

AMAZING 🤗, Despite Narration

Wow what a read/listen!

That ending left me wanting book 2 NOW!
This book kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I just never knew what was going to happen next. I loved every page and every minute of the audiobook. The narrators did an amazing job. I had a feeling I was going to regret reading this book before the second book comes out. But in the best regretful way possible LOL

Bring on Chrysalis!

I have yet to find a book that scratched the same inch that Creedence did and this absolutely does it! Dare I say it’s even better?? Will update when I finish the whole book.
