really good story and characters but a lot of clichés and hopefully now with a full party and the basics done on the next one is just steam ahead into dungeon diving

I think its obvious Sloss isnt the main author here cause this falls far far far bellow what he normally does. The story is awkward the characters dont make sense and the mc changes his mind all the time in annoying ways "i shouted for myself but them too" "I mainly wnted to make sure they took the potions" yeah, thats not shouting for yourself and self deluded mc's are never good to read unless you wrote them that way intentionally.

If i were sloss id ask for my name to be removed from the authorship its just really bad
