On the morning of July 12, 2017, the FBI Boston field office receives what appears to be a hoax call: a man rescued from the waters off Massachusetts has claimed that his sailboat was hijacked and used to smuggle weapons and terrorists into the United States. With local agents tasked to prepare for an evening presidential visit to downtown Boston, and with procedures requiring a response to any threat, no matter how unreliable it may seem, FBI administrative staffer Ben Porter is dispatched to investigate the call. Can Ben, untrained in field work and relying only on his wits and intuition, uncover the deadly plot...in time to stop it?

Great plot - loved the actors reading. Especially loved the Chicago accent!! I loved how the main character grew in confidence. Well done!

Exciting story that could come true and as a sailor similar thoughts happen at sea in the early hours...

Fun story and one that will be a worthwhile listen. The use of multiple persons to supply the voices makes the story even more enjoyable as the story unfolds.

Excellent first outing!

Slow and sort-of goofy start, but really good story once got going. Some character voices overacted, but bearable. But overall book kept me interested in next move. If real, being able to sail from USA out into open ocean and return with no scrutiny does portend some possible bad situations for drug, illegals, arms, etc. smuggling. Have no ready answers for this situation.

A well written story, amazing characters and twists you don't expect. A great listen while I was on a road trip. The narrating was fantastic. Actors Everywhere brought the novel to life! You felt the emotions of each character through their voices. As I listened, I could envision the actions of the storyline and literally gasped a few times. I did have to stop listening to one brief part of the book as I found it gut wrenching, but I won't spoil it for other listeners. That section does add another layer to the depth of the character and it was one of my gasping moments. There are many moments I didn't expect to happen and that is what makes a good story even more exciting.

Well done Christopher Rosow, excellent book. Actors Everywhere, another win in the voice acting world!
