In his first ever book on intimacy and healthy sexuality, Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh teaches us how to love our partners and nurture our relationships and how to walk the path of love past anger and disappointments while practising gratitude and appreciation. Written in a lucid style and filled with simple mindfulness exercises, Fidelity: How to Create a Loving Relationship That Lasts is a manual to finding enduring and healthy intimacy in our relationships.

As a guy struggling to maintain the vitality in my relationship, this was just the book I needed. This is not a "go on a date 1x a week" or "healthy couples have sex three times a week" kind of book (although those can be useful) but rather, focuses on deeper questions such as, "how to transform your feelings and emotions when you get the craving to sleep with someone else other than your beloved." I will admit it's definitely easier said than done, but it's well worth the time and effort if you are looking for more sustainable practices over the long run. The narrator's voice took a short time to get used to but then the performance actually grew on me.

I had read a few of Thai's books and almost wish I would have started with this one. If you are completely new to his books, I recommend going to plum village dot org which helps to categorize his books along topics.
