our hero is as sexy as they get. Ms Burr does a great job reading all of this series. #1 finding the dream is pretty hot, but the intro is a bit long. the latter half is hot.

best of the series

This was by far the best of the trilogy. It really rounded out the story nicely, although it would have been very good as a stand alone book. Nora Roberts is truly a master of her craft!

Best by far!

4.5 Stars ⭐️ Laura Templeton has been divorced to a man who never loved her or their daughters. Though she came from money, she refused to take the family money after her ex-husband cleaned her out in the divorce. Now she works for her family's main hotel in events and at the store that she owns with her best friends/sister Margo and Kate. Her daughters were reacting to the divorce in different ways, so when Michael rented out the stables after his house and stables was washed away in mudslides, he became a constant male figure to her daughters. Laura didn't want Michael, but she couldn't help her desire for him. Michael had incorrect assumptions about Laura. When he realized that Laura is not a pampered princess, he fell for her and wanted to take care of her. Michael fell for her girls as well, willingly becoming a father to them as their biological father did not want them. I really like the romance. They were opposites, but they needed each other. I like the plot and how the trilogy ended. The character growth was well done and I like the characters. I love the care and the part with the horses, especially when Michael and Laura helped birth a foal.
