I am really enjoying this series and this book was a good continuation of the series. I am loving the characters and the action that is going on. The world building is good, and the characters are enjoyable. The narrator has done a good job bringing the book to life and giving each character dimension. I loved Saxony’s origin book and I’m really enjoying her series. Book one introduced many characters and this book helps us to get to know the cast more. Each book by A.L. Knorr is a gem. Marni is an amazing narrator, and she really brings the story to life.
If you enjoy kick butt heroines and exciting stories, this book is for you!

This is the second book of the Arcturus Academy series. A great book about fire mages. There are relationships, crushes, and amazement. At the beginning was interesting on trying to keep into the book at the beginning but drew you in with friendships and what was going to happen next.
