When I saw this story I was a little nervous thinking it might be a fluffy girly girl dungeon core series but it was free for a weekend so I picked it up. After listening to the first book free I immediately bought the others.
The story starts about how you'd expect it to, but it gets rather dark rather quickly. The MC is neither good nor evil just a plain psychopath. However, they are a psychopath written correctly, not the generic "me, me, me." that are in way too many stories.
If you're looking for a story about a cute girl thrown into a situation where she's forced to slaughter people with cute and creepy dolls then this is an awesome read, also absolutely LOVE the narrators voice. IDK what it is about that voice but I could listen to it all day!

it's not an iseki it's a rebirth girl read for sure but also not just for girls. complex story with good characters

I was enjoying the story but it was ruined by the torture. we're supposed to be on this chick's side? She is evil not a survivor.

I don't mind the stat reading in books until you read the same stats and achievements, flavor text included, every 30 minutes. Along with that the characters feel stilted and more like plot objects then people, there was no time spent on how Lance's changes affected them but the end result of all skipped mental changes still was in the plot.

The narrator wasn't the worst but she sounded like she was recording on a terrible mic, and with her lack of ability to do convincing male voices they tended to blend together.
