I’ve never experienced this much non-stop action and suspense in a story. The author pulls no punches when it comes to the constant violence and failed escapes in the story, even to the point I wearied of it. I wondered how much longer it could go on. While I gave it 5 stars in all categories I could could have done with just a bit less.
Loved all the prayer references!!
I hope Char finds forgiveness so she can live without all the flashbacks and nightmares in the sequel.
This book was my first experience with this author.

OMGosh, more action and suspense than any book, movie, nor audio book ever.

The whole plot was convoluted and the characters were constantly battling good & evil . Page after page of this stuff became unnervingly boring.
