This was an excellent book! I listen to audiobooks daily and I spent my entire day listening and cooking. I feel like I can’t sit still and listen but this one had me standing still in my kitchen. Good story, good twist and love the PNW. Can’t wait to read the next one.

My first time reading DD Black. I'll be continuing to read the rest of the series. Well written police procedural with a lot of promise. Very good narration via audible that did the writing justice.

Great Thriller

The story is really good, but for some reason left me wanting just a little bit. I can't even put my finger on why it didn't completely win me over. But I love the Thomas Austin character, and I definitely want more of this complicated man. He's swimming upstream in so many ways. He's brilliant and severely damaged by his past; a very intriguing character.
