I loved the book, but holy crap! Listening to it? Whoa. Yeah — that was unexpected. Wonderfully and powerfully unexpected. Both narrators did such a great job, especially when reading a CE Ricci story. All the stars for this one!

I bought this audiobook on the Audible sale this past November and started listening to it immediately. One of the narrators took me a while to listen to, but I know it was a personal thing because their voice wasn’t quite how I imagined that character to talk in my head. However, both narrators did a great job of delivering emotion in the scenes, and it was refreshing to listen to some new narrators that I've never listened to before. I’ve also discovered that I can listen to MM romance performed in dual narration - it’s like I just discovered a cheat code!

The best part of this book was the emotion that Cannon's story and his strained relationship with his father brought out in me. I could relate to him on a deeply personal level as the oldest child in my own family growing up.

I liked Cannon and Easton and felt like they had good chemistry together.

Overall, I highly recommend this book!

I bawled my eyes out several times. Listening to this was both agony and pleasure and I loved it.

(Small but) It annoys me that Can almost married Anna when he was in love with Easton and knew he didn’t love her like that. And he really would have gone through with the marriage if Easton hadn’t been there which is so wrong. She deserved better than to be left at the altar.
