A worldwide apocalypse has a group of neighbors in Washington state trying to prepare for the coming winter. When they go to put away the last of the fall harvest, they find someone has stolen the food supply. This novel has a cozy mystery feel to it. That kind of surprised me, but I liked it.




The narration was well done, by Carol Anne Shaw. There’s lots of feeling in her performance. She’s given each character their own voice.


I want to move on to the next book to see what happens next now that the culprit has been identified.

This was a truly wonderful mashingbif a post apocalyptic story and a cozy mystery. Really well done. I think the author created a new genre. I really hope for more like this!

In the Meantime, is my first apocalyptic cozy and definitely not my last because it was unique, suspenseful, intriguing, and suspenseful. The amazing twists kept me guessing who the culprit was, and I still got it wrong. My hats off go to the narrator for bringing the story and characters personsonalites to life. The writing was phenomenal it had not one but two very strong female leads. I can't wait to read book 2.
I highly recommend this book you won't be disappointed. I received this book for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest, unbiased review here of my own free will.
