I have read the series and wanted to hear it narrated. The investigative portions had to surreal. Kudos Nora and hugs.

All the ends were snipped, but the romance only happens at the very end and leaves you wanting to know the details... Same for each book. Need a fourth book just to see them settle. #romance #thriller #mystery #suspense #tagsgiving #sweepstakes #series #engaging

Decent story.... Ending leaves you hanging

The first part of the story was just too unbelievable for me. A Doctor of Psychology who can't see malicious manipulative sister for what she is. The story gets better but the narrator doesn't do justice to the female characters. I've heard too many good readers that allow you to know who's talking just by the changes in their voice. That's not the case here. The females run together and the male characters aren't much better. All in all, I like the way Nora Roberts develops her characters and though I wouldn't rate this a 5, I think it was worth the credit.

I enjoy Nora's work very much and love the family dynamics portrayed in this series. Sure, there are pages and pages of dreamy wish fulfilment stuff - main characters are beautiful and rich, and the sex is always great. That may not appeal to all, but I appreciate the escape and spending time in the interesting, lovely places and interesting, lovely characters this writer creates. As for narration, the guy was good as a guy but, well, marginal as a female character. Still, I got over it and enjoyed the story.
