britanee didn’t disappoint with this story it had everything mafia angst and that banter that on she can write.Daddy Joe does it again with his smooth voice and array of accents. As does queen Maxine what’s not to love 5/5

This slow burn / childhood friends / mafia romance is spicy, but has surprisingly emotional & tender moments. Frank & Elena’s story is sad, but beautiful. And the relationship development between Frank & Elena’s kids is one of my favorite parts about this book.

I would 100% recommend listening to this dual POV narrated audiobook. Joe Arden’s narrations & his accents never disappoint. But Maxine Mitchell’s performance in this book is spectacular & emotional.

This was the best book I’ve listened to/ read in a long time. I loved Irish. He’s a beautiful soul that must be protected at all cost. And Ellie was amazing, a mature woman that has every right to not put up with the BS. I loved that she communicated with Irish when we reached the climax. It was beautiful and made my heart happy.
