"Nick Redfern is the Brit with a knack for ferreting out all the dope on outrageous subjects." (Jim Marrs, best-selling author of Alien Agenda)

Area 51, Hangar 18, the Montauk facility, the Dulce Base, the undersea world of Sanya, HAARP in Alaska, Pine Gap, Fort Detrick, Rudloe Manor, and the Zhitkur underground realm - these are just a few of the select, highly classified installations about which the governments of the United States, Australia, China, Russia, the United Kingdom, and others prefer that we, the general public, remain steadfastly ignorant.

And these same governments have excellent reasons for wanting to keep us in the dark. It is at these secret facilities that for decades, clandestine research has reportedly been undertaken into crashed UFOs, deceased alien entities, bizarre creatures and unknown animals, lethal viruses, biological warfare, mind-control experimentation, and much, much more.

Whether situated deep under the ocean, far below the ground, or within the heart of remote, fortified desert locales, these and many other super-secret places are guarded with a near paranoid zeal by those in power who wish to keep their secrets buried and locked far away from prying eyes.

And they have succeeded.

Until now...

This might be a new favorite Nick Redfern book for me. It used to be "Close Encounters of the Fatal Kind". I've read or listened to less than ten of his other books. Usually I enjoy them to some degree but am not that happy with any given title . His "Close Encounters of the Fatal Kind" is the only one Ive read a few times. But, last week I enjoyed his book "Diary of Secrets". and now I enjoyed "Keep Out" enough that I know I will return to it in the future. And it might either equal or surpass "Close Encounters of the Fatal Kind" as my favorite Redfern book.

One other thing. The reader does a pleasing and professional job of reading and recording the book. Some of the recordings of Redfern's books sound to me like amateur productions. i immediately think of his "WIB Women in Black" book that I listened to this weekend. It had both a weak but not awful read that included a number of dupicated sentences that weren't edited ted out and the sound of the recording wasn't good.

This is an interesting book about unusual places and events that are rarely spoken of openly.

This was the first Nick Redfern book I've ever read. I heard about him from Mysterious Universe. The guys there are big fans of him and I can see why.

What sets this book apart from many "conspiracy" themed books is detailed research and extremely objective reporting. Too many writers in the genre are so far down the rabbit hole they lose their rationality. Redfern gives a balanced approach to every topic. I learned a great deal with this book. I'll definitely read more from him.

Absolute Must Read
