I had hoped to be uplifted but ended up confused and irritated. Many quirks of the characters some may say were colorful but I found off-putting. I know enough about the wilderness to know this story stretched reality. I finally got used to the main characters narration but it took a while. I am not glad to have read this.

Was it the CRAZIEST bunch of CHARACTERS or was it the CRAZIEST STORY ever or was I CRAZY to keep listening ? ! ?
This book kept getting more weird page by page... It did therefore have that ability to stick in your brain.
Without giving away to story it is definitely a CRAZY listen!
Hello to Rye Curtis for keeping the story moving all over the map of a person's mind ! It was a good Winter listen that made you appreciate your nice warm home and life !

Crazy, Crazier, Craziest

The actual story was very interesting. The narrator was annoying, She was 72 & put on a stereotypical old lady voice that just made her sound stupid. I’m 72 & my voice does not sound at all like hers. The book was set in the 80’s. I kept reading just to get an idea of what was going to happen.

This story keeps you interested through the end. The writing is superb and thoughtful. I couldn’t stop listening. I highly recommend this great new author!
