I liked this book! This book was very sweet and quick. The narration was superb and gave the story that extra flair, it really kept you entertained. This author did a great job with the characters. This was my first book by this author but definitely will not be my last. I loved that you get 4 stories in one book. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This was an interesting combination of short stories. Ironically the title would suggest a slow growing romance but they are anything but slow.
Each story has its own unique storyline and all of them were pretty good, however, like with many short stories they moved way too fast.
The narration was very good.
If you’re in need of a MM quickie, this might just the book for you.

Kiss Me Slowly by Romeo Alexander is four separate short stories. In each of the stories one of the MCs is having his first experience with gay love.

I listened to the audio version of Kiss Me Slowly which is narrated by Randi Johnson. These stories are an excellent fit for Mr. Johnson’s narrating style. His expressive and enthusiastic vocals enhance the characters, and his rich, melodic voice are always a pleasure. 4 Big Stars for his performance on this one.

Snack Bar - 3 Stars

I really enjoyed this one, it is completely adorable. Two young men working at a summer sleep-away camp sneaking away to kiss and snuggle. Very sweet and well told.

Method Actors - 4 Stars

This is one creative story! The way this couple gets together is nicely done and works well for me. I was completely surprised at the turn the plot takes, and I never saw any tags to give a hint as to which way this one goes (view spoiler) but it ends up working for the story.

Building Hearts - 3 Stars

This plot has a different flavor from the other stories in the collection, but I enjoyed how it all plays out. A young, inexperienced country boy moves to the city to escape his parents’ unpleasant reaction to his coming out. I like the way he confronts his responses to the wealthy, older man’s attentions and that works well with the next part of the story. This is the one with the content warnings (view spoiler).

Terrible Gambler - 2 Stars

Unfortunately, this story is a bit too short so the characters’ connection doesn’t work for me.
