They don't play for the same team. Or do they?

Jamie Canning has never been able to figure out how he lost his closest friend. Four years ago, his tattooed, wisecracking, rule-breaking roommate cut him off without an explanation. So what if things got a little weird on the last night of hockey camp the summer they were 18? It was just a little drunken foolishness. Nobody died.

Ryan Wesley's biggest regret is coaxing his very straight friend into a bet that pushed the boundaries of their relationship. Now, with their college teams set to face off at the national championship, he'll finally get a chance to apologize. But all it takes is one look at his longtime crush, and the ache is stronger than ever.

Jamie has waited a long time for answers but walks away with only more questions - can one night of sex ruin a friendship? If not, how about six more weeks of it?

When Wesley turns up to coach alongside Jamie for one more hot summer at camp, Jamie has a few things to discover about his old friend...and a big one to learn about himself.

Warning: Contains sexual situations, hotties on hockey skates, skinnydipping, shenanigans in an SUV, and proof that coming out to your family on social media is a dicey proposition.

Well I see I have been turned out and on by M/M love. I love when he has not realized that he likes men then he has an epiphany that makes him say 🤔🤔🤔 For some reason it is really hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥. This is really a great story that is lovely and very sexy. The narration is above board great which always makes the great stories even more memorable. I just loved every minute and I can listen to it over and over again

LOVED LOVED LOVED IT

So I'm not really a m/m reader, but after hearing so many other rave reviews about this book, I had to give it a shot. Holy hell, I was not disappointed and I might become an exclusive m/m reader!! (Ok not really, but it was so good).
This story had so many hot elements but was also so sweet at the same time. I was hooked from the start and it didn't let up. The characters, Jamie and Wes, and their backstories were so well done- and I'm pretty sure I want to join the Canning (Jamie) family. Loved them.
I also can't say enough about the casting for the narrators- they were perfect for their characters! Teddy and Jacob just nailed this whole thing. They contributed so much to my enjoyment of the story. I could rave about their portrayals for days.

So glad I took the chance!

Would you consider the audio edition of HIM to be better than the print version?

Oh yes...these 2 narrators nailed it!! I loved them!!

What did you like best about this story?

All of it...it was perfect!!

Which scene was your favorite?

When they switched clothes in Toronto.....so cute and sexy!!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes it was...

I just recently discovered that I quite enjoy M/M books...I never thought that they could be so romantic, and quite sexy! Jamie and Wes were childhood best friends...and lost touch after a night of experimentation..that meant more to each of them than either of them would admit...Jamie has been living on 1 nighters and friends with bennies with different women...and he is happy...but he has thought about Wes so many times...when they run into each other as adults both looking at careers in the NHL...they rekindle their romance...and almost lose each other again..but fates align...and they end up together..because why? IT WAS MEANT TO BE!!! My fave type of book!!!

TOTALLY RECOMMEND! WELL WORTH YOUR TIME AND A CREDIT!!!!

OHHHH JAMIE AND WES STOLE MY HEART!!!!

This is a really good book, the author really knows how to keep you obsessed. You are pulled into the story line because it is being told by two different characters but it’s the same storyline (you’ll see). I would recommend this to anyone who likes to escape reality and fall into a fantasy novel. Loved it

Possibly the best narrating duo I've yet heard. Hamilton and Morgan turn a nice little story into an absolutely top notch experience. I'm saddened that they only team up once more in this story's sequel.

This is a lovely, romantic story, with well-defined characters, heartbreak, and steamy sex. I like both leads, who are three-dimensional with realistic fears and woes.

I hope some of the secondary characters get more real estate in the sequel, which I'm about to purchase.

Wonderful naration, romantic story
