I did really like this book, this is my second book I’ve listened to by her, the author reminds me a lot of Freida McFadden! The beginning was a little slow for me but it picked up pretty quickly. Some little details did not seem very realistic to me like when she traveled 2 hours to visit Phil’s family, they just let her in their home because she said she knows Phil?? But overall I liked it and I’m excited to listen to more books by her!

This book had everything I was looking for. domestic aspect, thrilling twists turns, and so much suspense!! I mean, WTF Phil...IYKYK! I seriously can't wait for book 2!

I love, love, love a good twist. This one is a must read.
This slow burn dives deep into the characters giving a much needed foundation to keep you on your toes. The twists and turns just kept coming and I loved it. As the story unfolds, this seemingly happy couple have dark sides and shady pasts. The author does a great job of giving the reader just enough but not too much. The ending blew my mind, then just stirred up a million more questions. I'm anxiously waiting for the next book to see how it all plays out. Love this new author!!

Thrills, chills and suspense!!
Sarah and her husband Logan move the family to a large estate in Tahoe, which was given to Sarah from her late uncle in his will.
This came at a perfect time for the family as they needed a fresh start. As incredible as this house is, there’s baggage that came along with the house. Phil, a friend of the late uncle, lives in a tent on the land. There’s a lot of mystery and confusion surrounding him and who he really is.
This story is full of twists and lots of family drama. I was completely hooked from the beginning!
Samara definitely has a way of grabbing you immediately with her intense stories!

I listened to the audio version and the narrators did a great job!
I recommend reading this awesome and exciting thriller!! ✊🏼✊🏼
