For the past two years, former detective Georgiana "Gigi" Germaine has been living off the grid, until today, when she hears some disturbing news that shakes her. Georgiana's brother-in-law has been murdered, her seven-year-old niece kidnapped. As the hours waste away, Georgiana races back to a town she left behind, and a former life she's still not ready to face.

This was a really good story. It was very interesting and never really got boring. Kept you on your toes the whole time.

Compelling and engulfing. The story absorbs the reader from the start, and it always leaves the reader wondering what went on in the main character's life. All the way through one gets hints until the very end were important questions are answered and no longer left flapping. Great book.

I love her books. They have mystery, twists and turns. I think what I like the most is the surprise endings.

Love Cheryl Bradshaw

I liked that the answer wasn't obvious from the start. Held my interest until the end.

Held my interest to the very end.
