This Delve has a price, and that price is time.

Escape before it’s more than you can pay.

When the party Fortune’s Folly slew a mountain-sized monstrosity of teeth and tendrils, the next obvious step was to go spelunking down its throat. When they found a foreboding portal within the corpse of said megafauna, they walked right through it. That’s just how they do things.

Don’t ask questions.

Level 10 has been reached. The challenges required to enter Deijin’s Descent have been conquered. Now, to bring the world one step closer to the second phase of System rollout, Arlo and crew must survive the legendary Delve itself. To have any hope against the avatar threat, the world’s Delvers need the tools this next phase will unlock.

Fortune’s Folly is willing to do whatever it takes.

Even if that means making deals with the enemy.

And even if the world outside is passing them by, faster, and faster, and faster…

Book 3 of Mage Tank, a new Isekai LitRPG adventure that features steady progression, intelligent characters who spend time making intentional build choices, and tons of laughs.

Great humor! I really enjoy the writing.
He continues to advance the overarching storyline at a good pace. The characters are starting to stagnate, so I hope the next book will cause the character arcs to start to arc instead of continue linearly. Nothing occurred in this book to change the characters. Book 1 and 2 both had significant losses, pains, successes, and failures that modified a character or two of the primary 5, but book 3 does not have that which is my only major criticism. I loved everything else :) definitely a good addition to the developing series!

Fantastic

After a while it starts to drone on and repeats the same things over and over. I also didn't like where it left off. I will read the next one though.

The main character was amusing and I liked the way he thought things out.

Other than the goofy name for the Pocket Closet it was a solid read. 🙈🙉🙊 The third act gets a little wonky with pacing, the author felt like he was trying to tie up a bunch of loose ends whilst creating new ones but overall it's a good series so far. Lots of action, power levels, a snarky AI and fun banter. The humor, ridiculousness and absurdity is in line with books like DCC, Discount Dan, or HWFWM. Loving that the MC is likable and an overpowered ADULT. MCs in their 30s make much better decisions and learn from them far faster than emo boys who have had 1 gf in HS that left him and now they're pissy and mad at the big bad world.😆 That trope gets old in this genre but, more mature MCs have better character arcs and relationships imo.

By far the best thing about this book though is the narrator. Holy cow the man has range, and those deep dulcet tones, I felt some of those characters deep in my jaw lol He's up there with Baldree, Hayes, Kramer, Miller, and Daniels. The book is good but the audio elevates it.

Closetland? Really? lol
