The Monument 14 are 14 students from kindergarten to seniors in high school are taking refuge in a super department store during a major works disaster. This is my comfort series like comfort food or super soft warm blankets. Not because the series is soft. The characters are tough, resourceful kids who fight for each other in different fallible and, yet heroic ways. And there is love and it's tested. Great characters. Great stories.

Interesting story, short on the believability, short on action, short on thrill. Safe for younger teens and adults who like to avoid the heavy hitting dystopian thriller.

This is the beginning to the end ... I connected with these kids and am cheering them on for their survival ! Can't wait to read the next book in this series.

Fantastic Book loved every bit of it. The writing is a little on the childish side but i think that's the point as its supposed to be a recorded events by a teenager
