New York Times best-selling Author of Field of Fire and Tom Clancy Power and Empire and Tom Clancy Oath of Office

Warning: The next terrorist attack on American soil is coming...sooner than you think.

They can strike anytime, anywhere. A public landmark. A suburban shopping mall. And now, the human body itself. Three Middle Eastern terrorists have been injected with a biological weapon, human time bombs unleashed on American soil. They are prepared to die. To spread their disease. To annihilate millions. If America hopes to fight this enemy from within, we need a new kind of weapon. Meet Special Agent Jericho Quinn. Air Force veteran. Champion boxer. Trained assassin. Hand-picked for a new global task force that, officially, does not exist. Quinn answers only to the Director of National Intelligence and the US President himself.

Under the radar. Brutal. Without limits.

America's answer to terrorism.

the story was just ok. The plot was a bit tired and the character's development was off.

ok not great

Entertaining plot, if a bit more James Bond (movie version) than techno-thriller.

The protagonist and sidekicks are drawn fairly well, though I don't get much of a feel of military from these military folks. The author draws too much from coincidence and convenience to maintain verisimilitude. And the cliff-hanger ending could (should) have been left for the following book.

The narrator tries too hard for different voices and exhausts his competent range relatively quickly. When this happens, he becomes a distraction.

Not terrible, but not one of the better suspense novels I've read recently.

Serviceable, but not especially good

Simply put it's an adventure tracking down three terrorists harboring ebola types virus. . Many subjects I know nothing about. We're exposed in this book without making me feel stupid about not knowing about Ebola. Type vibrases and terrorist groups from the Middle East and military types of service in confliction. Strange things definitely an adventure book and well worth a second read. To try to put it altogether again.

I want to read it again

Story is ok but really dislike the accents of the narrator. It is a so-so story.
