This was a really good listen!

Vincent is a cold, no-nonsense mafia leader who doesn’t believe in love, and Anila is his complete opposite—soft, selfless, and full of heart. Their chemistry is undeniable from the moment they meet.

I appreciated how upfront Vincent was about who he is. It made the relationship feel more real and intense because there were no illusions—just choices.

The story had a great balance of emotion, tension, and romance, and it definitely kept me engaged.

If you enjoy mafia romance with strong contrasts between characters and a bit of emotional push and pull, this one is worth the listen!

I loved the equestrian character for Anila this is my first book ive read with that portrayal. Khaleesi is my girl she stood ten toes down behind her Auntie. Stanley was a hot mess. this was a good listen and I enjoyed every minute of this book. I hope Xain and Selena get a story or even Khalessi. loved it.

This book had me laughing during all the wrong times... drama? Somehow I'm laughing, make you cry sweet moment? Somehow I'm laughing. The way she reacted to that surprise had me in tears, daggon near fallin out my chair laughing. This book kept me engaged from word go!

I can't lie, from the 1st scene with Xian and Kahleesi, I was hoping Selena died in a tragic car accident or they had an amicable divorce or something that kept both of them good people but not together because we need a Xian and Khaleesi book.
