I was told this was a suspense romance book. Not much suspense. You had it figured out long before the end. I liked the reader but not the story.

narrator doesn't like heroine any more than I do. voice sing song and condescending. couldn't get past chapter 2. not one of Brockmann's good ones

obnoxious

The narrator pretty much ruined a mediocre story. There was very little inflection in the narrators voice to either bring out emotions of the characters and there was very little difference between the male/female voices.
