... which is probably testament enough to how much I have enjoyed Stephen fries of classical Greek. This was not my favorite of the four, and I actually enjoyed the Robert Fagles translation of the Odyssey more… Nonetheless Stephen Fry's enthusiasm is infectious and his lighthearted approach makes it very accessible. enthusiasm

This much-anticipated book was well worth the wait. Mr Fry’s knack for storytelling rivals Homer and Vergil, and his sense of humor is unsurpassed. I devoured the book in my leisure time, re-listening to passages to ensure that I didn’t miss a single detail in the rich retelling of this timeless tale. Kudos to Mr Fry on this superb addition to his series.

Another Triumph for Fry
