This final book in this series is a second chance at love and boy does it rock! Everything Rome and Dex go through to get to the end was a lot of soul searching! I look forward to the next series!! Loved the narrator also!!

Fabulous finale!

It had the spice. I felt it was not as good as the first 2. The first two were so funny and just kept my attention. This one lacked the humor. Still a good listen though. Worth buying? Yes.

It was good

Hilarious, witty redemption story with lovely cameos from our other Deaf Hearts friends. I really love this series. Other narrators were better than this one but a fun, funny, sweet and steamy read.

3.5 Stars. I wanted to love this book because I enjoy grumpy characters, but this one missed the mark. It was an ok read, but I didn’t enjoy all the assumptions and miscommunications. While the guys did start talking eventually, and Rome worked to get the chip off his shoulder, it was too little too late. I honestly ended up struggling to finish, which was sad. This was also only the second book I’ve listened to narrated by Zachary Zaba. I really enjoyed the first book, but this one felt a little flat and it seemed like the characters voice tones switched quite often. The epilogue has me excited for the next book in the series, which I hope will be available soon!

I’m Torn

The narration was as if he was whispering in church, not so much telling a story in a conversational manner, more akin to gossiping in the checkout line. Each sentence held the same tempo cadence an oh my God the same tone…. Inflection… I hung into the 12 chapter and had to let it go. Give Kirt Graves..

Lackluster narration
