I love her books but I did not like the lady that read this book. She isn't anything like the others and is really kills the book for me. I wish I could find someone else the does audio on in.

how bad the reader was

This book was everything. I couldn’t get enough. Ready to listen to another one. This is the very reason I love Patrica Cornwell and the character Dr. Scarpetta.

Captivated

I thought the story was confusing and difficult to follow. Also, previous books narrated Marino’s voice with a Jersey accent and this one didn’t. Makes a difference when you have a mental picture of the character.

My least favorite Scarpetta novel

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

The story went a million places to end in 30 seconds. Very disappointing and unlike the early scarpetta novels.

All over the place

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

The narrator had lack of voice character differences. Also, it was too convoluted a plot. All characters seemed angry about something to no point.

Not a favorite
