The humor and emotion of the story engaged me. can't wait to read or listen to others in the series. it was so entertaining.

With and hour left to listen, I DNF.
Cringy is a good description someone else used. The storyline started knowing where it was going. The transitions were hurried and not well directed.
It’s a common troupe and just has been done better.
Sometimes it helps for me to increase the listening speed up but it didn’t work this time.

I love the fact that she is going back and writing stories that are before the series started. This is one of my all-time favorite series. It is so entertaining there’s comedy and romance. I have read so many romance books that they become predictable. So far the series is not predictable and I have reread them many times. I also read some of her other series and she covers such a variety of style of writing. I can’t wait to find more that she has written.
The reader of the story does a awesome job, and she is one of my favorite readers
