I was just so impressed with this book and narration that I’m writing a review! It takes alot for me to sit down and put my thoughts on line. But honestly, if this isn’t a movie it should be. But not one of those that compresses or changes stuff. It needs to be EXACTLY LIKE this book. I was so rooting for Daniel. I was stunned at the end. Best book and narrator I’ve heard in ALL my years on Audible.

McAvoy! Omgosh, I see why…. Wish every book was narrated with this much intensity! Scared the living crap out of me!

The narration was spectacular! The story was suspenseful, creepy and pretty horrifying. I usually listen to cozy mysteries so this was way off the beaten path for me. Once I had gone so far into the story , I just couldn’t stop listening. I had to stick it out to the end.
The author is very talented and the story certainly kept my interest but I think after this experience I’ll stick with my cozy mysteries!

This was such an awe-inspiring performance by James McAvoy you could see and feel every chapter. He’s so good I now want to watch everything he’s ever done. It’s a gruesome story but stands out because of McAvoy’s skill and talent. Well worth a listen!
