The narrator was fantastic. She made the story worth listening to. Unfortunately, I figured out the twisty ending early on and I think it’s due to too many hints and Darcy’s naïveté. Someone said she needed to grow a spine and that is so true. I don’t like to suspect the ending of books because I want to be surprised, so I was disappointed on that score. That said, I would recommend it if you haven’t read a lot of suspense or mystery stories. It will give you a thrill.

I just couldn’t get into the book, had to force myself to finish and truly would’ve been okay with not reading it all the way through.

It was a pleasurable listen to pass the time. I did figure it out much sooner than I’d expected but the ending was surprising, Darci’s naivety was very annoying but I’d definitely be interested in part 2.
