Santiago Alatorre

One mistake destroys my career. I go from most eligible bachelor to monster, hiding from the world. At least until Chloe breaks into my home.

My new fake girlfriend is a temporary fix to my biggest problem. But as our game changes, so do my feelings. There's only one issue stopping me from claiming her. Me.

Chloe Carter

It all started with a birthday wish, some vodka, and an ancestry kit. That's how I end up in Italy, finding my long-lost father. But one decision lands me a fake boyfriend I don't want.

The more we pretend, the easier our ruse becomes. I told myself not to fall in love with a liar like Santiago. I should have listened.

Contains mature themes.

I read this book and the story grabs you and doesn’t let go from chapter one. The character development is thorough but not tedious. Beautifully crafted. The narration perfectly captured these characters and while it is dual narration they do a fabulous job of the other voices, very smooth transitions.

Fabulous narration

I didn’t really like Chole. Not because of her story but because she was literally only upset with the lies that didn’t benefit her. It was times where I think she forgot how important grace was giving to her by Santiago in the beginning just for her to get upset about semantics about her dad. If lying was a hard limit for her she should’ve told her uncle right away who she was. But instead she got upset at Santiago and her uncle for literally doing the same thing. She was a great character but hard FOR ME to understand.

I love the banter and the hard backstories! The search for dad was a great twist. I think it was an overall positive book! I dug the whole thing, Santiago and his injury, the ridiculous druggie mom, the next door neighbor dad! It was an amazing experience and I loved it!

Great banter!

This was hands down my favorite of the series. “Redeemed” is a swoony, heart squeezing and emotional fake dating, second chance at life romance that I loved so much.

I loved Santiago from the first book and I’m so happy we finally got his book. And that opening prologue had me from the beginning and even more invested in him. He suffered such a huge loss and that affected him so much. It was such a drastic thing and even though he was hiding from the world, he worked hard to be independent and led what kind of normal life he could. Chloe was the breath of fresh air that he didn’t know he needed until she had fallen into his life. Chloe had such a tough life growing up in NYC with a mother who didn’t want her and thought of her a burden. Her need to find her father that didn’t know about her was strong and I admired her courage to be able to do that. I loved how these two met with Chloe falling into his life on his property. And then luck would have it that she came at the perfect time to be a fake girlfriend for Santiago. They had fantastic banter and I loved how they grew from strangers to friends to lovers. Santiago was battling some demons and Chloe was having none of that. She never let him think he was less than she loved every part of him. Her love was what his confidence needed. And I have to say how much Noah grew in the years throughout this series. He was the biggest part in getting Santiago back to racing. This book has so many emotions and I loved how everything played out. The ending was perfect and the bonus epilogue made my heart so happy.

Vanessa Vasquez and Noah B. Perez were amazing as Chloe and Santiago. Both of their narrations were so passionate and vulnerable. Vanessa’s narration was heartfelt and genuine, just like Chloe. Noah was amazing as Santiago. His narration was so vulnerable in the beginning and then became confident towards the end like Santiago did as he learned to love himself as he was
