Juliette Lucien-Sorel and Katarina Vyatka went through so much pain, so much heartbreak and so many horrific events that I couldn’t help but cry for both of them. And the friends and villains, sometimes one and the same, in the story were fascinating. The love between the two women was absolutely beautiful and that’s the part I loved the most. The plot twists had me on the edge of my seat and the ending was fantastic! Milena McKay continues to be one of my favorite authors and her writing is gorgeous. Abby Craden’s narration was gorgeous as well. Both women are immensely talented. My thanks to them both for a fantastic story on the page and verbally.

This Book is Fantastique!!!

A magnificent love story from start to finish that will stir your emotions. Definitely. Most especially, how McKay wrote the backstory of Katarina & her family. How she masterfully breaks our heart, and put it back together again in the end. If one doesn't cry or get teary-eyed on this story, well, I guess you'll probably the iciest of the ice queens.

This book is everything - beautifully written, poignant story that will stay with me for some time, and possibly the hottest, steamiest first time together scene! Love this author and of course best narrator. Love, love, love.

Wow. Beautiful story. This is a new favorite. This narrator is who I base my listens off of. She is superb at adapting every character and personifying their personality. Well done and bravo!
