The story is meh. Not the worst I’ve heard. Not worth returning, but not on the top 20 list. The male narrator is terrible. Before every line, he takes an audible breath and it’s so damn distracting. I also listen with an ear bud so he is essentially breathing right into my ear. It’s creepy. He’s also using a terrible accent and intonation. I want to skip all his sections, but then the story doesn’t mKe sense. He also talks so slowly that I need to put the speed up to 1.5 just to deal with it.

A waste of time. Bother very intriguing and it ends with a cliffhanger to NOWHERE! Why bother making and uploading an audiobooks when there isn’t another?

There is plenty of time to write a book of this caliber in a year and another to record it. For some reason the next book is not out there, making any time listening to this a waste. They even got decent narrators and then didn’t follow through. This is only acceptable when the author has died. I consider this series dead.

overall I think the story was a good read. at some point it did feel a little rushed. the woman voice actor was okay but lacked range when trying to do the male voices. the male voice actor kept breathing into the microphone and just didn't fit the characters personalities at all. I don't understand why the author would have chosen to have a male and female voice actor but have the female read most of the mail lines. a full cast would have set this book over the edge it is still new and not widely known. I am going to give this author another shot hopefully more of their work will become far more talked about
