This book is poorly written and repetitive. You cannot use the word precipice 4 times in one book. Each chapter was a repeat of the one before, as if they just read a thesaurus and changed the words slightly.

This Fan Fic is so wildly off the rails of the Harry Potter series that I couldn't even enjoy it. Timelines, established facts completely ignored, etc. The A. I. narrator made it even worse with pronunciation errors and the wrong inflections during spoken parts. Just not enjoyable at all for me.

If you have any love for the Wizarding World, do not listen to this. As Ron Weasley said, “What a load of waffle.” This is painfully repetitive and follows zero logic. I have read the books countless times. Watched the movies even more. I also happen to have a degree in writing. This is neither good writing nor good story telling. It ignores all the facts of the actual story. It’s basically a really horrible fan fiction. From the Triwizard tournament happening in Snape’s fourth year (even though we know at the time of “Goblet of Fire”, it had been MANY years since the last one) to Snape talking to a Tom Riddle who’s not yet Voldemort, none of this story makes any sense. According to this story, Lily herself asks Snape to protect Harry from Voldemort. Apparently, Snape only became a Death Eater a Dumbledore’s request. (Queue eye roll.) The AI narrator can’t even pronounce Slytherin correctly or consistently.

I enjoyed this story very much, This is great read for any fan of Harry Potter. The AI reader sounded very realistic.

A very good read!
