Most relevant
There is far to much focus on the main character and the love interest making out rather than much of substance happening. Also the romance seems very rushed, the don't spend more than a day together before they start getting flirty. Though they are two sexually repressed teenagers, so that might make sense. Events don't start picking up until right toward the end of the book, and then you get smacked with a cliff hanger.

Nothing happens for the first 40 chapters. The main characters immediately fall in love for no reason. They then spend most of the book just sitting in an apartment having cringe banter.
This book was narrated well.
