With Holmes incapacitated, Watson reluctantly agrees to let the argumentative Inspector Lestrade accompany him on a Scottish fishing holiday.

But soon after arriving at Ye Clootie's Claw Inn, Watson and Lestrade discover the fearsome Legend of Loch Logarth seems to be very much on the prowl.

Is the Clootie creature terrorizing the village of Logarth? And will Watson and Lestrade ever agree on anything?

As the creature claims its first victim, Watson realizes he may have seen terrible wounds like this before....

I started this series because I love Sherlock Holmes. At first I was really into the series but by book #2, I decided to finish the four books. Interesting and fun short story (written like a screenplay) with an interesting narrator.

The story has a classic Holmes feeling to it. Not very complicated or twisting but it's Holmes and it's fun...what could be better?

Take it for what it is--a fun romp with Sherlock--and you won't be disappointed.

Best one in the series so far...

Huge Sherlock Holmes fan and I definitely enjoyed this story. Reminded me a bit of The Hound of the Baskervilles. I really enjoyed Holmes's role in this story and liked how it was more about Lestrade and Watson. I feel like the role Holmes took doesn't show up as much in the newer stories.

I enjoyed Kevin Theis's narration. With his accent and different character voices, I felt he did Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson justice. I really liked how he played Lestrade as well. He really brings me back to listening to The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes radio shows, not that I am old enough to have listened when they aired originally.

Sherlock Holmes and the Legend of Loch Logarth by Ian Shimwell is a fun mystery. The overall story kind of gave me Scooby Doo vibes but in a good way. The thing I liked the most was the pairing of Watson and Lacahd. I felt that their back and forth banter was really funny. It was also cool to see Watson as the main protagonist for once. I thought he did a great job. The narrator Kevin Theis did an outstanding job bringing the characters and story to life. I also enjoyed the music accompanied with it as well. All in all I would recommend Sherlock Holmes and the Legend of Loch Logarth to anyone who is a Sherlock Holmes fan or enjoys a good Scooby Doo mystery.

I'm on the fence about these short stories as a hard core sherlock Holmes fan, it's okay but something is missing

Though I've thoroughly enjoyed the other Watson & Holmes Scripts to this point. This one was my least favorite. It was fairly predictable, and the bumbling Watson character was to overdone it was almost unlikable in this rendition. It is still worth a listen, especially if your prefer the Nigel Bruce rendition of Watson.
