I had such high hopes after reading reviews and after loving other books by this author, but I was really disappointed. It’s like she couldn’t decide where to take the story and went in a million different directions. The ending was pretty much a complete let down.

It really was ‘unputdownable’ but mostly because with so much thrown at one person - you gotta figure out what will stick. Characters are introduced & then just disappear with zero resolution. There are twists and turns galore- some you can see from early on- some sneak up on you so I’m still giving it a good rating but the ending is the equivalent of… “and then I woke up”

This isn’t one that has plot lines “you didn’t see coming” but it does tug at the heart strings as you feel for each of the characters.
