The story started great and I was all in but it hit a lull in the middle and never really picked back up. It was just a run on of the mfc's insecurities and running away, with the mmc begging her. It was literally the last chapter before she embraced the relationship and by then, I wanted better for him. Then the epilogue starts with her in a therapy session writing a "release letter" to her ex 🙄 I mean, yay for starting your healing but at this point, 🙄 girl please!

I'm not a fan of the mfc narrator, she's not horrible but I don't care for her voice or style. The male narrator was good.
