An interesting story...the main character seems oblivious that she and her arch nemesis are very much the same person. She may not have gone to the lengths she took in past but definitely succumbed to the exact same treacherous actions in the end. Absolutely insane! The ending...total fairytale type stuff!!

The story was very sad and depressing. I kept rooting for the main character to do something smart but her choices were terrible. It was just a downer to listen to. I only stayed with it because I wanted some justice in the end. Then when I finally made it to the end it was a cliff hanger. I'm not willing to listen to another book so I guess I'm stuck with the ending. Though the story left much to be desired the performance was well done and the narrator was talented.

Not great.

Narration done superbly! I will definitely be buying more audio books narrated by Barbara Rosenblat. Story was entertaining & kept my interest. I found myself talking to Jo trying to warn her...lol!

Great read

It takes a while to get going, but the final result is totally worth it!

Fun read!

The story most definitely strains credulity, but is a super fun (and funny) listen. The narrator is phenomenal.
I gave it 5 stars because it was such a welcome escape for my 55 year old Deep Southern self. I couldn’t be further removed from the lives of these characters societally or experientially, hence the grand escape 😉.
At times I equally loved and loathed our main character Jo Slater, and many of her friends. Genuinely surprised at times, laughed aloud at others, but ALWAYS entertained. I’ll definitely be following this author, and listening to the rest of this series.
Highly recommended.
