One night—that’s all it was supposed to be. No names. No complications.
And now? He’s everywhere.
In every trending video.
In all the news headlines.
On every freaking billboard.
Turns out, he’s not just some guy. He’s Flynn Holland, Lake City’s new hotshot pitcher. The one that’s supposed to end our team’s fifty-year championship drought (the same way I’ve fantasized about him ending mine).
As if that weren’t bad enough, my daughter loves him and he’s the poster boy for my rival bookstore.
Flynn’s perfect smile is plastered all over town, selling their books, like some kind of traitorous golden boy—while he’s over here giving me his best game.
Pass. I’ve had enough heartbreak for two lifetimes.
But then he looks at me, and I forget how to breathe.
Not to mention, he’s so good with my little girl, it’s downright unfair.
He’s maddeningly gorgeous, ridiculously persistent, and dragging me straight into his spotlight.
I need him to stay away—before I do something I’ll regret.

I absolutely loved Flynn and Olivia. All of these Holland brothers and their lady loves have been wonderful but these two just gripped my heart and did not let go. They are so cute together and the way loves, enjoys and cares for her daughter just melted my heart. I do not think I love this story more than I already do. Fantastic story!

If you're craving a romance that's equal parts swoon-worthy and emotionally rich, Spotlight by Rebecca Jenshak is a must-read.
This fourth installment in the Holland Brothers series introduces Flynn Holland, a pro baseball player with a heart of gold, and Olivia, a resilient single mom running a bookstore and raising her daughter.
Their unexpected connection turns into a slow-burn romance that's as sweet as it is steamy. Flynn's persistence and Olivia's strength create a dynamic that's both heartwarming and captivating.
With themes of found family, second chances, and the challenges of balancing love and life, Spotlight delivers a perfect blend of emotion and heat.
Highly recommend for fans of small-town romance and sports love stories!"

Best book of the entire series! I was a little hesitant to read this book because Flynn was always a younger brother the baby brother, the young one, and it felt a little creepy. However, he is not little, he is not young, he is a grown ass man! And I absolutely loved this story! It made my heart so unbelievably happy! I loved it so much.

A Home Run of a Romance—Heartfelt, Funny, and Surprisingly Emotional

This book hit all the right notes for me. I laughed, I cried—more than I expected, honestly—and I just genuinely enjoyed the ride. As someone who loves baseball, family-centered stories, and a satisfying happily-ever-after, this one delivered on all fronts.

Spoiler alert: I would’ve been seriously upset if Flynn had walked away from baseball. Thankfully, the author handled that tension beautifully. I love a good romance as much as the next girl, but when a character is forced to choose between love and the sport they live for, it usually leaves me frustrated. This book didn’t fall into that trap, and I was so relieved.

It wrapped up with an ending that felt both earned and heartwarming—a perfect close to a well-paced, emotional story. Honestly, it was a great way to spend a Saturday. Highly recommend for anyone who loves sports romances that don’t sacrifice authenticity for the sake of a love story. This one lets you have both.
