Powers are determined by geographic birth locations, and only the rich and powerful are permitted access to prized sites. SC is the first person born in space.

The punishment for unauthorized births is death. Out of fear, SC keeps his strange abilities as his darkest secret. He pretends to be nothing more than a mere Regular while his peers develop unique powers, varying from controlling lightning to producing diamond-hard skin. But when his mother is kidnapped by an unknown organization, SC has no choice but to act.

SC ventures into a school of talented students to learn to fight, where he must learn to master his powers without revealing their true nature. But soon he realizes that the school is more than it appears and that it may hold the secret to his missing mother. To rescue her, he will have to reveal powers never before seen in all of history.

The story concept was new and I liked it. However, story development was slow, and in my opinion, rambled.

This book was incredible! I loved the concept of power creation and the details provided for it instead of just having us accept it. The narrator did a fantastic job! I could distinguish each character perfectly. The way he spoke when Lucio was brushing his teeth was so realistic I laughed! I've always loved this genre but this is a whole new level! Can't wait for the sequel!

I like Leonard Petracci’s take on super powers. I enjoyed that massive power doesn’t not mean you are the best.

The character growth (while it felt long and painful) was good. He could have progressed even more, but he is a good start.

Overall, this story could have done with some things being taken out and others to be expanded on. There were a lot of “unexplained” or “loose ends” once you are finished.

Will Watt isn’t a half bad narrator. I loved how he made his voice sound like someone was brushing their teeth while talking. While he could use some more inflection in his voice.

Not a bad start for writer or narrator.

I liked the story and it had a feeling of X-men. I would like to see a sequel but definitely get the story line together. There were quite a few wholes and plot jumps. Other than that definitely a good story
