I had a problem with them saying GD over and over and over throughout the book it was a little-annoying and a little much. other than that, it was an OK story.

The first half of this book is exciting and dark but the second half is just neverending love triangle drama! I would have preferred the whole thing be them trapped and eventually escaping at the end.

The first few chapters had me thinking it wasn't going to like it. You could tell from the start there was more between Dean and Cora and it didn't sit right with me that either of them would do that to her sister. I felt like Dean was going to be one of those "I do what I want get what I want" men but he wasn't and after a few chapters I found myself rooting for them not only to make it through but to end up together and I felt her sister was a selfish brat. I had this in my TBR for a while and I am glad I finally read it. It was a different take or an erotic story and I enjoyed it. I do recommend it but I suggest you read the trigger warnings to be sure you can handle the content.

I never leave reviews but it’s been a long time since a book got under my skin like this one. It haunted me until I finished it and I thought about it constantly. It’s one of those books that is as painful as it is soul satisfying. I can’t member what I read last week but I will remember details of this book two decades from now. Check the triggers and then read this…on your day off.
