In a realm full of secrets, she’s collecting them all.

A choice to make.

Tessalyn Ausra’s fate has always been out of her hands. Still bonded to the Heir of Endings, she now finds herself with more control than ever before. Everyone wants something from her, and she has to choose a side. But in a realm full of villains, she trusts no one, and she has secrets of her own to keep.

A plan to salvage.

Control and knowledge have always been Theon St. Orcas’s greatest weapons, but both have slipped through his fingers. Given a task by the rulers of the realm, he’s racing against the clock to get his plans back on track. But as myths become reality, he finds himself fighting more than time in an effort to keep what’s his or lose it all to fury.

A fate to alter.

Axel St. Orcas has never minded rubbing shoulders with the depraved rather than the elite. It’s easier to hide his shame among the corrupt. But with each passing day, he risks triggering a curse and endangering those he cares for most. He’ll sacrifice anything to keep them safe, even if that means giving up everything he is.

Who will be left standing when Chaos comes to reign? Storm of Secrets and Sorrow is book two of four in The Legacy Series.

This is a new adult, dark fantasy romance series with elements that may be triggering to some listeners. Please be sure to check the updated content information. Seriously. We know the MMC is a morally gray, walking red flag. Listen to the content information, then embrace the darkness.

What don’t I like?? The world building is amazing connecting this world with the world of lady of darkness. The performances are fantastic Laura Horowitz never disappoints. I often find that the second book of a series can drag, not the Legacy Series. These characters keep me enthralled with their damaged souls trying to survive and connect. I have never been so invested in a series. Melissa K Roehrich has delivered a phenomenal story. I cannot wait for the next installment

Amazing world building

I finished the book quicker than I planned to. I enjoyed the story and mysteries. I listened to the Lady of Darkness series first so the crossovers were truly a treat. I love how this series expands this universe and the story slowly pulls back layers on what the characters THINK they know. The last few chapters kind of confused me a little. I felt like we were going so slowly with almost a day to day conversations, but then things quickly sped up after the last hearing. I had to go back a few times thinking I missed a plot or something. Im most intrigued with Cat she just seems like a character that lingers in the background but notices everything and is very insightful. I hope to see more of her in future books. Tessa is a frustrating character for me. I get her at times but other times she’s a bit over dramatic at the wrong time. The main characters are like a toxic couple that needs counseling lol. Triangles are the strongest shape so I’m interested in how the main characters relationships evolve in the future. Overall I’m enjoying this series.

Really enjoyed

This series is tearing me apart! The dynamic between Theon, Tessa and Luka is so delicious but I have been reduced to a blubbering mess more than once!

These characters are fire and heartbreak!

The narrators aren’t my favorite, but they did a good job voicing each character and giving them a unique personality. Unfortunately I ran out of credits and now I have to read the rest instead of listen to them.

Loved the story.

Didn’t like separate narrators though. It made the voices different in every chapter and that felt odd.

Good story
