Nick Vandal faces his greatest challenge yet in the Risen Tower, a place of trials and floors designed to test the survivors' limits. As Nick and his new companions battle through casino mazes—and relentless hordes—they uncover the truth behind the Admin's grand design.

Hidden enemies within the survivors' ranks plot to sabotage their progress, and success is far from guaranteed. Nick must use every resource, including his knowledge of the future, to navigate the challenges and forge alliances necessary to reach the top.

Only then will he face the watching gods and learn if his choices have been enough to change the world's fate.

it was dope how he describes items and how he voices different characters without spoiling anything.

I loved the detail and delevery of loot and plot points.

I just can’t wait until the next book in this series is released! The story is such that I wish these books were longer!

Excellent book

I find the narrator's monotone delivery makes the book feel rather generic and uninteresting. I also wonder if the author had a specific target number of times to mention the sword's name, as it seems excessive. The frequent use of onomatopoeia like "bam" and "boom" feels somewhat distracting. It reminds me a little of older cartoons. The writing style seems quite simplistic, and I feel the frequent use of power-ups rather than level-ups detracts from the overall quality.

Not the same.

the author lost the thread on his story and characters. im about halfway through this one having given it a chance and am going to up the speed to see if I can get through it that way
