I liked book 1, now I’m hooked. Can’t wait to hear what crosses up Bone next time.

This was an enjoyable listen. The story took quite a while to develop and the everything was wrapped up with a bow in top in the end but the characters were likable, there were reprisals from previous characters, a decent plot, bad guys died and good guys lived and multiple story lines going at one time to keep it interesting. I listen to books while working out and driving so this has been a good couple of weeks for fitness for me!!

This is a very poorly done copy of his Axe series. Zero originality and bad implementation!

200 chapters of a few minutes long each. very disjointed and repetitive. first in this series was 5 stars.
why this weird format?? it did not add to the story, which could have been so much better if it had flowed smoothly. author is very good and the story itself is great, but should have a better style of story telling in any future books, please. narrator did the best he could with this.
all the flashbacks were unnecessary, a technique many of the authors i like are using now, its awful. makes the books a rip off, i skipped some of the chapters.
