When we first meet Cassie, she admits to murdering a fellow classmate. Her mother has passed away, and she’s going back to Minnesota for the funeral at the behest of her older brother. Excellent development of the main situation that keeps the listener and or reader and grossed in the story waiting for the other shoe to drop. A definite five star experience.
