I didn’t expect the story to be so heavy. Lots of details that you needed to know.

When I thought I knew what was going on another wrench was thrown in. Twist and turn but a very heavy story that was sad.

The plot, the characters! This was a read that I could not put down. This book had me in a reading headlock from start to finish.

Started a little slow but quickly didn’t want to put down. I had a lot of sympathy and hate for characters. In my opinion there was an obvious evil character whose actions made my skin crawl. It was made clear who was at fault, but the journey they took and how good or bad they could be was shocking. Exciting, unexpected ending. Thought the performance helped tell the story. Highly recommend.

While I was able to sort of figure out the main twist there were a lot of additional ones that caught me by surprise. Great book overall really enjoyed it and the way it was read.
