Overall, I would give it 10 stars if not for the voicing of the narrator. I wish he didn't have to mimick a female voice or of a little child and deliberately try to sound like one at all since he is a male reader. It sounds rather comical when the dialogues are serious. It should have been read without delibate reference to a character's gender.

This was a great listen I eagerly wanted to have an errand to run so I could listen to this audiobook and shed a tear and a sigh to this story and its very real believable characters. Nicholas Sparks has another success

First time Sparks reader...

This listen is heartfelt romance at its best.
I am currently at time of listening to this audio studying bio-medical ethics and my assigned paper to write is on autonomy. Wow! Just beautiful I felt as if I were a fly on the wall taking in every scene.
Nicholas Sparks thumb up on this one and looking forward to the next read...any suggestions?

This book was absolutely amazing!
The only issue I had was that on some of the chapters the started it off with music and ended some of them with music .... After the first chapter I was side tracked by it, kinda thrown off. I didn't like the music to start more than the beginning of the book or to end the book..

The book was great I got lost a few times with the back and forth but it was easy to catch up. My only issue that dang music throughout the book it was so distracting and bordered on irritating at times. Future summaries should state that there are musical inserts so that the reader can decide in advance if they want to choose a specific book.
